2017 Conference Theme: 

Patient-Centered Care 


Chaired by Nick Fahy of Oxford University’s Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, the 2017 conference was hosted at St Hugh’s College, Oxford. This conference attracted academics from around the world involved in all fields of health economics relevant to delivery of health services in hospitals, general practice and community settings. The aim of the conference was to shed light in and to improve health services throughout the world, with a particular focus on patient-centred care.

The 2017 conference in Oxford welcomed over 180 attendees and invited speakers including: Professor Jonathan Emberson (University of Oxford), Professor David Hunter (Durham University), Professor Ralf Schwarzer (Freie Universität Berlin), Professor Susan Brundage (Queen Mary University of London), Professor Winette Van der Graaf (The Institute of Cancer Research), Professor Peter Scarborough (Nuffield Department of Population Health), Professor Borislava Mihaylova (Nuffield Department of Population Health), Professor Vera Roos (North-West University), Professor Mike English (Nuffield Department of Medicine).
